Qubee.com.pk , Doing Alot to maintain Quality

Qubee Internet Service Currently working in Karachi, Alot of new BTS added after that coverage is improved, area increased. Existing customers may get the issues in services because of optimization for new towers, test drives. But this is very temporary, once optimization is done in particular area, everything will return to calm and things will be more improved.

256 kbps , Is it Broadband speed? Practically / technically / theoritically?

When we talk about High Speed Broadband Internet , thinking about 256 sounds like a joke to many of us. All Wimax services in Pakistan offering 256 kbps connection , the only reason I understand of this un understandable move is making the tariff beautiful and affording to customers. Although prices are not that down , for example if a wimax company selling 512 kbps in 750/- , they offered the 256 kbps in 650/- , just giving Rs. 100/- relaxtion user is forced to buy 256 kbps, which is ofcourse too slow, and its shared so you can calculate what he is getting.

The only WiMAX which is not even offering 256 kbps package is Qubee Wimax Broadband. PLUS giving users relaxation by giving them promotions offers rather than ripping money from users pocket by giving very very compromized services. Every company has own business policy, but Qubee policy is do business but customer should be facilitate as well.

Technically if someone is selling 256kbps and saying its broadband , he may be right according to books , and difination of broadband, but practically this is waste of money for any customer.
I recommend atleast atleast 512kbps, no matter which company's, but it should be 512 .

What's wrong in DSL in Pakistan?

Dhaka International Trade Fair area Wi-Fi Zone ( Thanks to Qubee)

QUBEE internet service has transformed the Dhaka International Trade Fair area into a WiMAX internet zone providing free internet service to pavilion owners and visitors, said a news release.

Anyone can use QUBEE internet for free for the whole month at the fair covering 75,000 square metres on their personal computers, laptops and mobile phones, it said.

‘It is the largest open air Wi-Fi zone in the history of Bangladesh,’ said the release.

Thousands of people visit the Dhaka International Trade Fair with 452 pavilions and stalls.
